I have over 10 years experience in offshore site investigations and geotechnical engineering including shallow foundations, suction-installed anchor piles, driven piles, drag anchors, seismic hazard assessments, integrated studies, gas hydrates, pipeline shore crossing, etc. I am experienced in a wide range of in situ testing and sampling techniques. Experience in offshore activities comprises project management, client representation and site management of geotechnical site investigations, mainly in the North Sea, Mediterranean, West Africa, Middle East, South East Asia and Australia. I have obtained my Ir. Degree (equivalent to MSc) at the Technical University in Delft (The Netherlands) at the Faculty of Mining and Petroleum Engineering, Section Engineering Geology and am a member of the Kivi (Royal Dutch Institute for Engineers).
